Is the sauna electric or wood-fired?
Our saunas come standard with a 6kW electric heater, which runs on 220V and requires a 30-amp breaker. It provides consistent, efficient heat and is rental-friendly.
Are barrel saunas more efficient?
Unlike traditional saunas, barrel saunas require less energy to heat up. The curved shape of the barrel allows for efficient heat distribution, reducing the heating time and energy costs.
Standard US electrical price of 15 cents/kWh comes out to 90 cents/hour for a 6 kW heater. Warmup of 1 hour + 2 hours of use is $2.70.
What kind of wood do you use?
Our standard build uses spruce. It’s durable, naturally beautiful, and has that classic sauna scent guests love. This is the wood of choice for traditional Finnish saunas.
What's the turnaround time?
We build each sauna by hand, and typical turnaround is 4–6 weeks from the time of contract signing and deposit.
Do you deliver?
Yes! We offer free delivery to Rockingham County and Augusta County, VA
Where should I put my sauna?
Your sauna needs to sit on a level, solid surface.
At minimum, we recommend a gravel pad, but a concrete slab is ideal for long-term stability and drainage.
What are the dimensions?
Each sauna is approximately:
